T-Pain has been in hip hop since the early 2000s and still remains in the scene with his new podcast. The rapper announced the news on Tuesday (May 25) via Deadline. The new series will be titled Nappy Boy Radio which will be available on June 3rd. Florida native T-Pain signed a deal with LiveXLive’s platform, PodcastOne.
During an interview, T-Pain says, “Too many conversations and interactions I was having with various people kept ending in the same way, with me saying ‘damn, we should have recorded that’ So we decided to do just that and launch the Nappy Boy Radio podcast. Partnering with PodcastOne, a company that is talent first’, was a no-brainer for us.”
PodcastOne President Signs T-Pain
After the deal with PodcastOne and T-Pain, the president was asked about his future plans with the platform and their interest in T-Pain. He says, “At PodcastOne, we seek hosts who are charismatic and engaging with something to say that audiences want to hear,”. He continued, “T-Pain is all that and more. His innate curiosity and interest in the world around him and the people who live in it offers up endless possibilities for show content and we cannot wait to launch Nappy Boy Radio with T-Pain.”

On the upcoming podcast Nappy Boy Radio, T-Pain will be featuring many guests like Mike Tyson, Slim Jxmmi, Lil Jon and more. Topics of the podcast includes music, gaming, luxury cars, technology, alcohol and of course weed.
