Kanye West New Teeth: Permanent Titanium Dentures

April 08th 11:48

So this is a thing that actually happened. Kanye West has new teeth, and they’re not what anyone expected. This isn’t a grill. This isn’t veneers or even just a flashy dental thing for an event. These are permanent. Real titanium. Like actual metal in his mouth. And according to him, they're inspired by the James Bond villain Jaws. Yeah, that guy with the steel bite from the old movies.

The story kinda exploded in January 2024 when Kanye showed off his new look, and everybody was like, what is going on? At first, people weren’t even sure if it was real. But it is. Kanye West's new teeth are very real. Dentists are still trying to figure out how or even why it happened.

The Famous Kanye West Smile

Back in the early 2000s, Kanye had a smile that fans always noticed. It wasn’t the Hollywood kind where everything was white and straight, but it was very Kanye. Confident and kinda crooked in a good way. It matched his music. There was energy in it. Back then, he didn’t care too much about images in the traditional sense.

But his look changed a lot over the years. The fashion, the hair, the weird masks. So maybe it was just a matter of time before the teeth followed, too. Still, nobody saw Kanye West new teeth coming like this.

Early Age Kanye West and His Grills

Around the time he was blowing up as a producer, Kanye had already started getting into grills. Gold, sometimes diamonds, but more lowkey than others. He wasn’t doing the crazy Southern style stuff but he was experimenting with his look for sure.

After his car accident in 2002 where he had to have his jaw wired shut, he even wore temporary grills while still healing. That was when he made “Through the Wire,” rapping through his busted mouth. That was a big moment. A lot of people still point to that as the thing that proved how committed he was.

And maybe that experience stayed with him because here we are in 2024 and he’s back in the headlines with a brand new mouth.

Kanye West's Car Accident in 2002

The crash in 2002 was a major turning point for Kanye. He nearly died and had his jaw broken in multiple places. Recovery was long. Painful. And it left him with a ton of dental work over the years.

Some fans think the new titanium setup might actually be connected to all that. Like maybe he wanted to reinvent hissmile entirely or just didn’t want to deal with dental stuff ever again. Hard to say because Kanye doesn’t always explain things in ways that make sense to everyone else.

But if you’re looking at it from a timeline angle, it does sort of line up. Two decades later, Kanye West's new teeth show up and it’s not just cosmetic. It’s full-on replacement.

Kanye West's New Diamond and Titanium Grills

So here’s what we know. Kanye says he got all his natural teeth removed and replaced with permanent titanium dentures. Not implants in the usual way either. This is a custom job that includes titanium, diamonds, and a whole lot of design. Some reports say diamond dust is involved which is just the most Kanye detail ever.

There are rumors the whole thing cost somewhere around 850 thousand dollars. He hasn’t said who did the work. Probably a mix of international specialists. European maybe. Some dental boutique folks. No one knows for sure. It’s Ye.

One expert even said this might be more intense than anything seen in elite body mod communities. Others warned about long-term damage. But again. Kanye does not care.

And yeah Kanye West's new teeth are a full statement piece now. Not just a look but like a symbol of whatever new chapter he’s in.

Kanye West's New Teeth in 2024

When the shock wore off a little, some simply accepted it. He was out and about in public: all over airports, for listening parties, and just out and about walking, with a smile as if nothing had changed. Fans are quite divided; some think this is next-generation in fashion; meanwhile, a few still think that it is just ridiculous.

Nobody really knows what it means. Maybe he’s starting fresh. Maybe it’s about control. Or maybe he just likes the way titanium looks. Wouldn’t be the first time he made a wild move for aesthetic reasons only.

But think about it. In 2004 he had a song about backpacks and Benzes. Now in 2024 he’s got jets and diamond metal teeth. Of course it’s extreme. That’s who he is.

Kanye West new teeth might be strange but it’s also on brand.
