August 01st 11:39

Rapper Pooh Shiesty, also known as Lontrell Williams Jr., was on the rise in his career, performing at the 2021 Shiesty Season Spring Fest and collaborating with Gucci Mane. However, his career took a turn in January 2022 when he was found guilty of federal conspiracy. This followed two arrests related to shootings in Southern Florida, leading to a sentence of five years and two months in prison.

On July 30, a post appeared on Pooh Shiesty's official Instagram page that sparked speculation about his potential early release. The post, which read, 'It ain't sh*t to do a hit Im back, Btch!!', initially led fans to believe he might be out. However, a subsequent post clarified that he is still in prison, leaving fans in suspense about his actual release date.

Rumors about his potential early release have been circulating since a jailhouse interview on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast in November 2023, where Shiesty expressed hope of being released sooner than expected due to good behavior credits. He also mentioned that he has written material for six albums during his time in prison.

Currently, Pooh Shiesty is two and a half years into his sentence, with an official release date projected for July 2027. Fans eagerly await further updates and hope for his swift return to the music scene.
