Welcome to Support Hip Hop.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of supporthiphop.com (the “Website”), including our articles, music coverage, submission forms, promotional opportunities, advertising, marketing services, and other content, services, and features made available through the Website.

Support Hip Hop (“Support Hip Hop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an independently operated website and online media brand based in Illinois.

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms. When you submit content, purchase a service, or otherwise use a feature that requires you to affirmatively accept these Terms, your submission or purchase also constitutes your agreement to these Terms and any additional terms presented in connection with that feature or service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using Support Hip Hop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Certain features, including music submissions, promotional submissions, purchases, or other services, may require you to affirmatively agree to these Terms before submitting information or completing a transaction.

If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only enter into transactions or submit materials requiring contractual consent with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When changes are made, we may revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Website after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

2. About Support Hip Hop

Support Hip Hop is an independent hip hop media, music discovery, educational, and marketing website.

Our content and services may include hip hop news, music coverage, artist features, videos, tutorials, marketing resources, promotional opportunities, advertising, creative services, music submissions, giveaways, and other content or services related to music and hip hop culture.

Support Hip Hop may provide both free and paid services.

The availability, features, eligibility requirements, pricing, and terms of individual services may change from time to time.

3. Use of the Website

Support Hip Hop grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Website for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms.

You agree not to:

We may restrict or terminate access to the Website when we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated or when necessary to protect Support Hip Hop, its users, or third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original materials created for Support Hip Hop, including original articles, written content, graphics, branding, logos, website design elements, and other original materials, are owned by or licensed for use by Support Hip Hop and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may share links to Support Hip Hop content and may quote reasonable portions of editorial content where permitted by law, including for commentary, criticism, discussion, or similar purposes, with appropriate attribution where applicable.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, systematically copy, create unauthorized commercial derivatives from, or commercially exploit substantial portions of original Support Hip Hop content without permission.

The Website may contain music, photographs, artwork, videos, trademarks, artist names, logos, album covers, social media posts, embedded media, or other materials belonging to artists, photographers, record labels, creators, platforms, brands, or other third parties.

Ownership of those materials remains with their respective rights holders. Their appearance on Support Hip Hop does not transfer ownership to Support Hip Hop and does not necessarily imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation.

5. Music, Artwork and Other User Submissions

Support Hip Hop may allow artists, producers, creators, businesses, publicists, representatives, or other users to submit music, videos, photographs, artwork, biographies, press releases, social media links, artist information, promotional materials, or other content (“Submissions”).

You retain ownership of your Submission.

By submitting content to Support Hip Hop, you grant Support Hip Hop a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, access, review, reproduce, display, publish, format, resize, crop, excerpt, adapt for presentation, distribute, promote, and share your Submission as reasonably necessary to:

You also authorize Support Hip Hop to use artist names, stage names, approved photographs, artwork, logos, biographical information, song or project titles, and other promotional materials included with or reasonably associated with your Submission for these purposes.

Your Responsibility for Submitted Material

By submitting material, you represent and warrant that:

If your Submission contains material belonging to another person, including beats, photographs, artwork, video footage, trademarks, or copyrighted recordings, you are responsible for obtaining any permissions necessary for the uses you authorize.

Publication Is Not Guaranteed

Submitting content does not guarantee publication, review, feedback, coverage, promotion, placement, acceptance, or any particular result unless a specific paid service expressly provides otherwise.

Support Hip Hop maintains editorial discretion over the content it reviews, publishes, features, promotes, edits, declines, or removes.

We may edit submitted biographies, descriptions, headlines, press materials, or other written content for grammar, formatting, clarity, length, style, presentation, or editorial purposes.

Previously Published Submissions

You may contact Support Hip Hop to request that we stop using submitted material for future promotional purposes.

Where reasonably practicable, we may honor such requests. However, permissions granted under these Terms may continue as reasonably necessary for material already published, archived content, records of services previously provided, legal or administrative records, and preservation of the Website's editorial and historical record, subject to applicable law.

6. Promotional, Advertising and Marketing Services

Support Hip Hop may offer paid or free promotional, advertising, creative, marketing, music submission, editorial, or related services.

The specific deliverables associated with a paid service will be determined by the description, checkout page, invoice, written agreement, order confirmation, or other terms presented when the service is purchased.

Unless Support Hip Hop expressly agrees otherwise in writing, purchasing a service does not guarantee any particular commercial result.

Support Hip Hop does not guarantee:

Payment for a promotional service compensates Support Hip Hop for the agreed work, placement, advertising inventory, creative work, or promotional activity, not for a guaranteed level of audience response.

Results can be affected by factors outside our control, including audience interest, algorithms, platform policies, market conditions, competition, timing, and the quality or relevance of the material being promoted.

Support Hip Hop may reject promotional material that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, deceptive, unlawful, infringing, harmful, or otherwise inappropriate for the Website.

7. Editorial Independence and Sponsored Content

Support Hip Hop maintains editorial discretion over its independent editorial content.

Payment for advertising, marketing, promotion, or another commercial service does not entitle the purchaser to favorable editorial coverage, editorial approval, positive reviews, or control over independent Support Hip Hop editorial content unless the purchased service expressly includes a particular sponsored or promotional deliverable.

Where appropriate, content created or published as advertising, sponsorship, or paid promotional material may be identified as such.

Editorial opinions and decisions remain within Support Hip Hop's discretion unless expressly agreed otherwise as part of a particular service.

8. Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

Prices and payment terms for paid Support Hip Hop services will be presented at the time of purchase or otherwise agreed upon before the service begins.

Unless different refund or cancellation terms are expressly provided for a particular service, you may request cancellation before Support Hip Hop begins performing the purchased service.

Once work has begun, promotional or creative materials have been produced, advertising inventory has been reserved, or a placement has been scheduled or published, payments may be non-refundable except where required by applicable law or where Support Hip Hop is unable to provide the purchased service.

If Support Hip Hop is unable to provide a paid service that was purchased, we may, as appropriate under the circumstances and applicable law, provide a refund, replacement service, credit, rescheduling, or another reasonable remedy.

Dissatisfaction with audience response, streams, views, engagement, followers, sales, rankings, or other results that were not expressly guaranteed does not by itself entitle a purchaser to a refund.

Any service-specific cancellation or refund terms presented at the time of purchase will control if they conflict with this general policy.

Nothing in this section limits any refund, cancellation, chargeback, or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

9. Copyright Complaints

Support Hip Hop respects copyrights and other intellectual property rights.

If you believe material appearing on Support Hip Hop infringes a copyright that you own or are authorized to enforce, please send us a written copyright complaint.

Your notice should include:

Copyright complaints may be submitted using the contact information provided on Support Hip Hop.

Support Hip Hop may remove, restrict access to, or investigate material after receiving a sufficiently detailed copyright complaint.

Please do not knowingly submit false or materially misleading copyright complaints.

Repeat Infringement

Support Hip Hop reserves the right to remove or disable access to material alleged or determined to infringe intellectual property rights.

Where appropriate, we may also restrict submissions or access by users who repeatedly submit infringing material.

This section is intended to provide a process for reporting copyright concerns. It should not be interpreted as a representation that Support Hip Hop has completed any particular statutory copyright-agent registration or designation.

10. Third-Party Links, Embeds, Platforms and Advertising

Support Hip Hop may link to, embed content from, advertise, reference, or integrate with third-party websites and services.

These may include streaming services, social networks, video platforms, music platforms, retailers, advertisers, affiliate partners, payment providers, analytics providers, and other external services.

Third-party services are independently operated and are not controlled by Support Hip Hop.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, content, products, services, representations, privacy practices, or policies of third-party services.

Your interactions with a third-party website or service are governed by that third party's terms and policies.

The presence of a link, embed, advertisement, artist, product, company, or third-party service on Support Hip Hop does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation unless expressly stated.

11. Editorial Content and Information Disclaimer

Support Hip Hop publishes content for informational, educational, entertainment, cultural, and editorial purposes.

Although we strive to provide useful and accurate information, we cannot guarantee that every article, news report, tutorial, guide, quotation, statistic, release date, price, third-party statement, or other piece of information will always be complete, accurate, current, or error-free.

Music and entertainment news can change quickly, and information considered accurate when published may later become outdated.

Opinions expressed by artists, interview subjects, contributors, commenters, third-party sources, or other individuals do not necessarily represent the views of Support Hip Hop.

Nothing published on Support Hip Hop constitutes legal, financial, medical, tax, investment, or other regulated professional advice.

12. Giveaways, Contests and Promotions

Support Hip Hop may occasionally offer giveaways, contests, sweepstakes, promotions, or similar opportunities.

Individual promotions may be subject to additional eligibility requirements, deadlines, geographic restrictions, entry requirements, official rules, or other conditions.

Where separate rules are provided for a promotion, those rules will govern that promotion in addition to these Terms.

Support Hip Hop may modify, suspend, cancel, or disqualify participation in a promotion when reasonably necessary due to fraud, technical problems, eligibility issues, legal requirements, or circumstances that materially affect the integrity of the promotion, subject to applicable law.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Support Hip Hop and the Website, including its content and services, are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Support Hip Hop does not warrant that the Website will always be uninterrupted, available, secure, error-free, or free from harmful components.

We do not warrant that information available through the Website will always be accurate, complete, current, reliable, or suitable for a particular purpose.

We do not warrant or guarantee the performance, availability, conduct, products, services, or representations of third parties referenced through the Website.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Support Hip Hop and its owner, contributors, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of or inability to use the Website, its content, Submissions, third-party services, or services provided through Support Hip Hop.

This includes, where permitted by law, losses involving profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, reputation, audience growth, streams, followers, engagement, sales, rankings, or other commercial outcomes.

Paid Services

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Support Hip Hop's total aggregate liability arising from or relating to a particular paid service will not exceed the amount actually paid by you to Support Hip Hop for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Support Hip Hop and its owner, contributors, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and reasonable costs and expenses arising from or relating to:

This provision does not require you to indemnify Support Hip Hop for conduct for which indemnification cannot lawfully be required.

16. Changes, Suspension and Termination

Support Hip Hop may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, remove, or change portions of the Website or its features.

We may remove content or Submissions when reasonably necessary for editorial, legal, security, technical, operational, or business reasons.

We may restrict a user's ability to access or submit material to Support Hip Hop when we reasonably believe the user has violated these Terms, infringed another person's rights, abused Website functionality, or created a legal or security risk.

Provisions that by their nature should continue following termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, previously published Submissions, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification, will survive to the extent permitted by applicable law.

17. Privacy and Cookies

Your use of Support Hip Hop is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which describes how information may be collected, used, disclosed, and otherwise handled when you interact with the Website.

Support Hip Hop may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, advertising, security, preferences, and other purposes described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Cookies Policy.

Third-party services embedded in or used by the Website may also use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Subject to any rights or protections available to you under applicable consumer law, legal proceedings arising from or relating to these Terms or the Website may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Illinois.

Nothing in this section deprives a consumer of rights or protections that cannot lawfully be waived or restricted by contract.

19. General Provisions

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any service-specific terms or policies expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of Support Hip Hop and the applicable services.

If a provision of these Terms is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Support Hip Hop's failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision or our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer or assign rights or obligations arising under these Terms where doing so would materially affect Support Hip Hop's rights without our consent.

Headings are provided for convenience and do not alter the meaning of these Terms.

20. Contact Support Hip Hop

Questions regarding these Terms of Service, Support Hip Hop services, or copyright concerns may be submitted through the Contact page on Support Hip Hop.

For copyright complaints, please clearly identify your communication as a Copyright Complaint so that it can be reviewed appropriately.
