Fans Roast 50 Cent Outfit While On Stage With Nicki Minaj

April 2, 2024

The unexpected sight of rapper 50 Cent gracing the stage of Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday 2 Tour this week was a moment that caught many by surprise. While his performance was noteworthy, it was his striking outfit that became the talk of the town online, sparking a flurry of conversations among fans.

The G-Unit founder donned a full denim ensemble, the most noticeable piece being a shimmering jean jacket. While some fans praised the bold look, many took social media to poke fun at the outfit's 2000s aesthetic. Jokes referenced Diddy's recent controversies, with comments like "FiF took that jacket from Diddy's closet," along with questions about the jacket's origin.

This isn't the first time 50 Cent has used his Pink Friday 2 Tour appearances to aim Diddy. During his previous cameo at Madison Square Garden, the rapper jabbed Diddy's legal troubles and his ex-girlfriend.

Despite the online buzz surrounding his wardrobe choice, 50 Cent's performance received positive feedback from fans. The rapper is set to take the stage again later this week at Dreamville Festival, where he'll replace Chris Brown.

J. Cole Replaces Chris Brown With 50 Cent in Dreamville Festival

J. Cole's Dreamville Festival has undergone a last-minute lineup change. Hip-hop icon 50 Cent will co-headline the opening night alongside SZA. This announcement comes just days before the festival kicks off at Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, on April 6th and 7th.

50 Cent is replacing R&B star Chris Brown, who is no longer performing due to "unforeseen circumstances." Additionally, up-and-coming Atlanta rapper Hunxho has been added to the Sunday lineup, taking the place of Muni Long.

The festival's official Instagram account shared the news: "We are excited to share that 50 Cent and Hunxho have been added to the lineup! See you this weekend!"

The inclusion of 50 Cent in the Dreamville Festival lineup is a testament to his enduring influence in the hip-hop industry. Following his successful "Final Lap Tour" last year, during which he shared the stage with J. Cole at Brooklyn's Barclays Center, 50 Cent's musical prowess was once again recognized. At that concert, J. Cole lauded 50 Cent's "Get Rich or Die Tryin'," as the "best rap album of all time," a statement that even surpassed the iconic status of Michael Jackson's "Thriller."

The rest of the Dreamville Festival lineup remains stacked, featuring Nicki Minaj, ScHoolboy Q, Jeezy, and a strong contingent from the Dreamville label itself, including JID, EarthGang, Bas, and J. Cole. The festival will run alongside a week of free events and educational programs throughout Raleigh, offering a well-rounded experience for attendees.
