Lil Durk’s legal team is pushing back against prosecutors who want to use his music video as part of the case in his upcoming murder-for-hire trial. According to court documents, prosecutors also claim the music and visuals were among the “hints” the rapper allegedly gave before the violence occurred. Durk’s attorneys say the request contains multiple errors and point to earlier efforts to block music videos from being shown as evidence during the trial.

The second would apply if the video demonstrates a relationship between Durk and one of his co-defendants.
